Bali Day #11, July 17th, 2013, Taman Penta Part 2 of 2 Deeky Doo Scooters

In part 2 of Day 11, I just want to share some local pictures.

Jimbarin Bay.  This is a shallow area where they anchor the fishing boats.  These boats are used daily to bring fish to the market.  Fresh is the operative term.

A picture of our hotel from afar.

Bali Day #11, July 17th, 2013, Taman Penta Part 1 of 2

Today, we had no specific plans except to do some local sight seeing.  They call it Jalan-Jalan.  One item on our Bali Bucket list was to examine Plan B.  Plan B is a small house that my wife bought prior to moving the the USA and marrying me.  She owns it free and clear.  The house would be a place she could live in the event things did not work out between us.  Luckily, Plan B has not needed to be actioned.  In the meantime, the house is managed and kept up by her Dad.

Some of the items in the house have been removed, like the air conditioning and wash machine.  Oh, and the bath tub too.   The hot water heater was removed as well.  Balinese do not use hot water.

Please enjoy the pictures.

Certifies that the house uses city water and is not on a well.

220v upgraded service to handle A/C, wash machine, refrigerator, etc.

Bali Day #10, July 16th, 2013, Cultural Trip to Ubud Part 3 of 3 Dance

We attended a dance theatre this evening that ran for about 2 hours.  Here's just a few pictures.  My position in the audience turned out to be less than optimal.

Bali Day #10, July 16th, 2013, Cultural Trip to Ubud Part 2 of 3 Rice Fields

Ever since I've been here I've wanted to take some good shots of the rice fields but the driver never stops.  Wen he does, the pictures suck.  Most of these were taken on the run.
