The Run to Our Connecting Flight

We disembarked the plane and searched for the way to the gate where our connecting flight waited.

Since we arrived International, we had to go through Security and then off to the transit terminal.  I'm not exactly sure what our arrival gate was but our exit gate was gate #6 at the other end of the airport.

We ran and ran and finally made the gate but the boarding door was closed.  They had given away our seats!

The gate attendant told us to go to the KAL transit counter to determine what to do next.    We walked for a while and went upstairs to the transit counter.  They were expecting us.  We provided them our ticket stubs for the flight in and our tickets that were issued to us at Dulles Airport.

The KAL representative apologized profusely and told us that KAL would take care of us.

On our flight, we were handed Korean Immigration papers to fill out in the event we had to stay and they came in handy.

Our KAL representative walked us down through immigration and customs and told us where the KAL Transit desk was located.

By this time, we were pretty grumpy, tired and in much need of rest.

We went through immigration where they collected the index finger biometrics from my wife and I.

After we made it through Immigration and customs, we arrived at the KAL transit desk.
